What is LiveGMS?

LiveGMS is the world's first online and platform independent gene editor for Creatures 3 and Docking Station.
LiveGMS is online as "stable" since May 1st 2004. Thanks to Alien and Michael for testing it.

Latest changes/bugs

  • February 20th 2006: EasyGMS is available in French and German now. The French translation has been made by Pasto.
  • September 9th 2005: The new LiveGMS frontend module EasyGMS is online and reachable here.
  • July 21st 2005: Added a "Page map" table to see which genes are on which page.
  • October 9th 2004: Corrected bug in edit function for brain lobes and tracts.
  • September 25th 2004: LiveGMS is now available on sourceforge.net. If you want to run your own copy or participate in LiveGMS' developement, this is the place to go.

  • HTML compatible Browser
  • Intel 500 MHz or equivalent CPU, more than 1000 MHz recommended
  • Internet connection with a downstream of at least 128 KBit/s
  • Javascript and screen resolution of 1024x768 or more recommended
  • Best experience using Mozilla
